At the Mercy Cancer Center, we're also making those visits as pleasant and brief as possible. The furnishings and interior were designed to comfort and soothe. One simple innovation is the introduction of patient ID card. When a patient arrives for a treatment session, they check in with the swipe of a magnetic card - alerting the entire department of their arrival, calling up their treatment plan and telling their therapist to prepare the treatment.
Top-notch Technology This $20 million facility, the first of its kind in the region, complements Mercy's nationally recognized inpatient cancer care. The Mercy Cancer Center's diagnostic capabilities include some of the most sensitive imaging instruments available.
